    Helium Remote connects to Helium over your local network to receive playback information and send control commands — from your sofa, your garden or anywhere in your home. Become a remote DJ and keep the music going at your parties without ever touching your PC.

    No additional software beyond Helium is required on your PC. A Helium Premium license is required to use the app.

    Requirements

    A network connection between your phone and the PC running Helium — local Wi-Fi works best.

    A Helium Premium license is required to use Helium Remote.

    Setup

    On your Windows PC (Helium Options)

    Open the Tools > Options menu.

    Scroll down in the left list and select Web service.

    3

    Set up the Port to use.

    4

    Optionally click Open port in Windows Firewall if you plan to use Helium Remote from outside your home network.

    Click OK to save the settings.

    Start the web service from File > Web service > Start web service on port 3031 (the port value may vary if you changed it above).

    On your iOS or Android device

    When you start Helium Remote for the first time you will be asked for:

    The Address of the Windows PC running Helium (e.g. 192.168.0.2).

    2

    The Port number (as defined in Helium Options above).
